One of the most far reaching and cross cutting exposures of the TDC Team was the Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Program in 2008. We were able to reach 375 Faculty of Colleges of Education from all over Sindh. This was an excellent opportunity for TDC to have first-hand knowledge of the challenges, opportunities and paradoxes that working in a GCET entailed. Much to our delight, the actual outcome of the Program far exceeded our expectations. It was a joy to see the efforts of youth so energetically directed towards the uplift of their own places of work, and then to note that they had been so ably guided by their Tutors, who in turn credited the training they had received from November 3 – 29, 2008 from four training organisations, of which TDC was one.
