Training for Peace and Tolerance organized by KYI -TDC collaboration is a part of campaign to educate and train teachers to fulfill their social responsibilities to work for sustainable peace and development in society and in schools. The eleven successful training programs have fulfilled its target of training 304 teachers from three areas of Karachi i.e.  Lyari, Sultanabad and Korangi. The training cohorts began from 23rd Feb 2015 to 22nd April 2015 at Hotel Mehran Karachi.The training workshops focused on Education for peace and tolerance; teaching the educators to understand compassion, unity, team building and mutual understanding which pave the way towards promoting peace in society.  The workshop emphasized ways to integrate peace education in the classroom, creating a learning environment where children interact and share with each other.
