Being a teacher and teacher educator has been the most gratifying of all other things I have done in life.
I am grateful to my mentors from school Mrs Dossal, Ms Adeeba Kamal (late), Ms Nargis Alavi, Ms Tausif Zaidi (class teacher X) and my alma mater Habib Girls’ School for being my first institution for grooming as a teacher too.
When I look at collaborations in the city working with Abbas Husain sahab has been an honour and privilege. He is my go to person when I am creating any new project. We connect at a very different level: educational cum spiritual.
Lastly would like to mention two of my Heads Rukhsana Zahid and Zohra Talat Inam whom I always looked up to as a school leader.
I believe anyone who teaches you a word is a teacher and deserves respect and I wish and pray that our students, trainees and mentees acknowledge it and regard everyone. Thanks to Shumaila Waqas for acknowledging my efforts.
